University of Toronto China Care Fund is a non-profit U of T organization dedicated to providing life-saving surgeries and post-surgical care to orphaned children in China.
.

Our operation so far (2011 to 2013) has raised more than $3200 for China Care Foundation. In collaboration with two other China Care clubs, U of T China Care was able to completely cover Tian Le’s spinal repair surgery and post-surgical care. It is our sincerest wish that Tian will now be able to celebrate life with much excitement and hope!

Join us (through Facebook/Email) to take part in our:

  • On campus fundraising events (see top of page tabs)
  • Medical Conferences with U of T Professors.
  • Over-sea volunteer opportunities.

Due to poverty and mulnutrition, many orphans in China are born with birth defects such as spinal bifida, ventricular septal defect (VSD)and patent ductus arteriosus (PDA). They are in desperate need of extremely costly surgeries. Without these surgeries, many of them will not see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Our club currently consists of 14 dedicated executives and more than 100 members who share a common goal− To paint the skies of the orphaned children with love, light, and laughter.

One child at a time. Together we can give them a second chance at life.
